It seems like a really interesting theory to me, and I do think that it would make an interesting experiment if you are visiting the same location multiple times to see if you consistenly get more activity only when you are in period dress. The other thing I wonder about is if the amount of people around affect the amount of activity, there are a lot of people at the reenactments and that equals alot of energy.

Investigators will often try to engage better interaction with ghosts by gearing towards what is thought to be known about a location. For example: if reported activity is pointing toward the ghost being a child, they might use trigger objects such as toys, then one step further would be if that child was thought to have lived in the location, say a hundred years ago, they would then pick out toys that would be familiar to that child's time period, like jacks or a ball. So it seems possible that the period dress could have the same effect in giving the ghost something familiar to relate to as well.

It's been great, we have a few investigations under our belts now and the team is coming together nicely. I am pretty proud of how they are handling the investigations. We sre building our knowledge base and becoming proficient with our equipment. All in all I am pretty happy with how it is working out.

There are parts of it that have been more challenging than I imagined they would be, mostly from a time standpoint. But it's all worth it!

I agree that while Sensitivity in and of itself cannot be used as proof of paranormal activity, I think a sensitive person can be an asset on a team for the mere fact that if they are getting an impression or feeling, it is comparable to.. well, a blip on a radar screen. It could be a useful signal that there is some activity going on, and depending on the level of the person receiving the signals, may even give some insight to what the cause of the activity is.

I'm not so sure about having multiple physics in the same place at the same time-how would you know they are not reading each other's feelings and cmmunicating telepathically on on some level, even subconciously?

I strongly subscribe to PSI theory too, in that I think it is possible that the spirit or intelligent haunt is sending the signals and visuals, that they want you to see by some type of telepathy. Therefore it is possible that when we only see shadows it is because that is what they want us to see.

That being said, I have come to the realization lately that intelligent spirits may not be the only things involved in Paranormal Activity. Hopefully I have put the link in correctly but if not, go a little further down this forum and look for a forum called "Why do we assume it's dead people"

http://ghostvigil.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=1082&forum=12

I have to tell you I was resistant to some of the theories there, until I finally realized that the reason I was resisting was because I didn't want some of the alternatives to be possible, it would just be a little too "horror movie" for me. I'm perfectly ok with the concept of dead people-but had some personal fears to work through when it comes to demons and such! I'm working on it...

Anyway, check out the forum and see if it helps you to find an answer or develop a theory on "Shadow People" and other things that go bump in the night.

Nearly every community in the United States can claim at least one haunted house. Some have more than one...In most cases, the citizenry, except for a few knowledgeable individuals, is totally unaware...that macabre dwellings are standing in their midst.
