You're not going to believe this.
Angela and I decided to go out there that day just for the heck of it and got to the site around 5pm (right after they closed). I kept thinking that ya'll was going to be going there soon, but I couldn't remember when.
I've been to the battlefield several times, but still haven't toured the house, and this was the first time I actually walked around it. By the way, I think ya'll let a bat in the house. We looked in one of the first windows you come to at the back of the house, and there was a little bat hanging on the curtains. I took a picture of him, and I'll put it up soon.
Sorry I missed all of ya, and sorry I haven't been on the boards lately. Life's just been a little tougher the past few months.

Loved it today. It was so much fun. It was also a pleasure to meet all of you that we did. Angela is still wearing her "sunken eyes" makeup.
I know we can't wait for the next event that's done, and even more so the next zombie walk!
Once again, it was a blast.

Yay! I'm finally going to make it to something

Yea, a friend of mine and I did it with some desert robes I'm working on and it really gave them a good look aged and worn look. I'd put up pics, but the camera's batteries are dead and I haven't gotten any from the store yet =o)

A good way to tatter clothes is to take a couple of cinder blocks and place the clothing on one piece, and slam the other one into it. And if you want some good tearing, have one person press down on the top block while you drag the clothes slowly out from under it.

We're alright down here in Raytown. I was heading home from work when the second storm hit around 2am, and that wind almost blew my truck right off the road. So other than being just a little shaken by that, nothing bad happened to us.

Right now, I'm planning on wearing my shadow person costume. It's an all black pants, shirt, robe w/ hood, a black face mask with glowing yellow eyes.
While I haven't got my Star Wars group to excited about this (sometimes I don't know what's wrong with them) the local 501st (the guys who dress as Stormtroopers) has got several members interested in it. So I've at least gotten the word out some.

Even though I had one of these for years (don't recall ever seeing anything unusual with it though while I had it) I never fully understood how it worked. Can the energy leave (go through) the glass, and therefore give something the energy needed to possibly become an apparition or does the energy stay within the globe and all you could get is a sign of the energy heading to one area on the globe? Also, if it does leave the glass, could that same energy also affect the EMF's in other parts of the location?
We actually have a couple of the plasma discs right now. I might turn those back on for a while to see if anything happens. Regardless, it is pretty to look at.

Believe it or not, it was a friend of mine who suggested to me a demon. I kept always thinking it was some kind of banshee (though thinking back, why did I ever think Banshee, there just loud harbingers of death, not rock tossers). That comes from growing up learning a lot about Scotland (some ancestors from there). So it defiantly can come from stuff you've learned and how you are raised as to what you think some of the paranormal can be.

With the date, I'm about 90% sure on this one that I won't be able to make it. There's a comic convention in Iowa that same day, and an artist friend of mine wants me to come up there with him and help work his table.
