Wow, what a crew. Now I heard from most of these people when again?
As it is, I just got my computer home tonight and working again. Apparently, in my infinite wisdom, I forgot about things like spyware and virus protection. My computer went to craps on me back in September when something got in and corrupted the whole system. Uncle Sam helped me get it fixed and running again. No more long trips to the library! BTW, when is the home page going to be updated? The year for the zombie walk is 2008 and the copyright is 2007. I know that "Fearless Leader" is off on other projects, but the site could use a little TLC info update. How is everyone else doing anyway? ![]()

Just thought I would let everyone know that I found a reference to Ghost Vigil in a book that I started reading. The book is Haunted Kansas City Missouri by Angela Cox. Published in 2009 by Schiffer Books.
The author is referring to the hauntings at the Independence Marshalls Home and Jail. I found the following reference to GVin her book: Page 46 Paragraph 1: "GhostVigil.com reported that some visitors to the jail have smelled a strong tobacco or cigar scent as they wandered about the place. The smell passed by them as if on a breeze -- strong for an instant, then slowly faded away." The website is also listed in the Bibliography under the Website Resources heading. I will try to post a review as soon as I am done reading the book. Kim

Thanks for all of the ideas that you were able to give me. Even with all of the rain that we had the department was able to raise $15,000 for backstoppers. This group helps the families of fallen police, and ems workers who are killed in the line of duty. The organization serves a 17 county area in the St. Louis region as well as currently serving 40 families right now.You can access their site at:

Best to go with plausible until verifiable is the way I look at it.

Glad to hear it. Sometimes researching can drive you nuts trying to find the info that you know is out there but can't put your finger on.

I am curious to know what it is like. After all, the cost to produce was only $15,000 and has made $64 million since opening. You will have to let me know how it is.

Is that stomach growl contagous? The reason that I ask is that the next morning one of the boys woke up with strep. While sitting at Walgreens waiting to see the nurse, I started with the whole stomach grow thing. It has been off and on ever since.
Any plans on doing this again in the future? I have a coworker who may be interested and my husband discussed with Jamie about testing out that theory I posted about a while back. I wouldn't mind doing this again myself. Also, the volunteer at the hosue Sunday when I went back told me the story about the match container that disappeared from the kitchen. Has Kandince told you this one and is there any truth to it? Kim
