On Saturday, March 8th at Noon...we'll start a clean up project on a section of Elmwood Cemetery.

Bring tools to cut back overgrown bushes, volunteer scrub trees, etc. So limb-cutters, saws, heavy rakes, etc. And if you have a weed-whacker...bring it along. We'll be cutting back any overgrowth, picking up fallen limbs, etc. And getting the Cememtery reading for mowing in the Spring. If you don't have any tools, then just bring yourself!

If you have any questions, post them here and we'll get it answered.

After we clean-up, we'll be touring the beautiful stone Chapel at the center of the Cemetery! This should be a fun day outdoors. Kids are welcome. We'll be doing this one despite the weather...so if its a little cool or a little moist that day, we'll still be there.

I've posted some photos of Elmwood below...but for many more photos of this beautiful and historic place click here.

See you there!

I don't have any of those tools myself with me up here, but if someone's got some extra they wouldn't mind me using, I'll be there.

There will be plenty of tools, and plenty to do. We'll see you there! The only thing I didn't mention, which you might want to get...is a pair of work gloves.

I like your new avatar, Sherry!

Jamie with a chainsaw. Hmmmm...I'm officially impressed (and mildly frightened).
